My sweet Romero is an amazing elder statesman. He arrived in our life in 2017 as a seeing eye dog for our wonderful elderly Golden Retriever who had lost most of his sight in both eyes. Romero played and took care of Toby until he passed in 2019. Romero has 2 brothers my sons who are 22 and 24 and live here intermittently between college and life. Unfortunately Romero had to have his gallbladder removed this pass April and cancer was diagnosed on his liver but he has struggled on. He is the happiest sweet doggy and everyone that meets him falls in love. He definitely deserves the Top Dog Award!
